Founder & CEO
Fergus England is the Founder and CEO of Chalk Projects, overseeing the operations and creative direction of the studio across residential and commercial projects. With a degree in Architecture and over 10 years’ experience in the luxury design industry, he has built a reputation for delivering refined spaces shaped by craftsmanship, attention to detail and a deep understanding of how people live within them.
Known for his personable approach with clients, creative thinking and exceptional eye for detail, Fergus brings qualities that are essential within any design-led environment. His work spans a range of established projects, from prestigious institutions such as the Hurlingham Club through to private high-end residential homes across London and Home Counties.
Chalk Projects was founded on the belief that thoughtful design and careful execution produce homes and buildings that feel both refined and effortless.

Imogen Blears
Senior Interior Designer
Imogen is the Senior Interior Designer at Chalk Projects, with a strong foundation in both classic and contemporary design. Since qualifying as an interior designer, she has worked across a number of respected London-based studios, contributing to a range of residential and hospitality projects.
Notably, Imogen has been involved in several projects in the Cotswolds, including the renovation of the renewed Bull in Charlbury.
Imogen brings a wealth of product knowledge and refined design to every project.
Beverley England
FF&E Director
Beverley brings over 25 years of experience in the interior design industry, contributing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Chalk Projects team. Her career has spanned an extensive range of work, from private residences across London and the Home Counties to projects in France and Switzerland, alongside furnishings and interior schemes for high profile hotels, private members’ clubs and corporate spaces within the City.

With a deep understanding of materials, furnishings and spatial potential, Beverley plays an important role in shaping interiors that feel both refined and timeless. Her experience across residential and hospitality environments allows her to bring a thoughtful, well-rounded perspective to every project.
Charlie Philips
CFO & Financial Advisor
Charlie serves as Chief Financial Officer at Chalk Projects, where he works closely with the team to strengthen the operational and financial efficiency of every project. With a meticulous approach to detail and a clear understanding of the complexity involved in high-end developments, he plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered with both precision and accountability.

Known for his personal manner and strong relationships with clients, Charlie brings a calm and considered presence to an area of the business that is crucial to the success of any design led project.

Athos plays one of the most crucial roles at Chalk, not only for our clients but also for: trades, suppliers, builders, joiners, builders, plumbers... everyone.
Combining over 25 years working within the property industry, the team at Chalk is a dynamic and versatile design studio. Chalk facilitate full turn key interior and architectural design, project management, residential, commercial and yacht refurbishments.
